I got:

A Perfect Circle - Thirteenth Step
Dream Theater - Awake
Dream Theater - Metropolis Pt.2 : Scenes from a Memory
Stratovarius - Elements Pt.1

Getting that Stratovarius album proves to me even more that Blind Guardian is the only good Power Metal.

Yes. Edguy being the more power metally of the two.
Get any Edguy.
It's all good power metal stuff.
From Savatage I would reccomend The Gutter Ballet.

I think the last cd I bought was Toby Mac's MOMENTUM.

OoPart: an artifact that "seems" to be out of context with the surrounding evidence.
Ex.: A fossilized footprint of a human child containing a fossil of a crushed trilobite. Pronounced O-Part.

I just bought a CD today. I had to choose between Lostprophets and Story of the Year.

I went with Story of the Year because I was curious about other songs they have. I only knew one song until today.

Modest Mouse - Good News for People Who Love Bad News

I was so disappointed with this CD. I would have rather had them gather all the good songs on the album, of which there are few, and made an EP rather than an LP.

Said By Dir. Nick Rivera

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

My favorite Pink Floyd album. Ever.

After listening to the Modest Mouse album a few times through, I realized that there were only a few good songs(Bury Me With It is my favorite).

And I burned a cd for myself for my music appretiation takeover day. My class gets the pleasure to listen to:
AC/DC - Fire Your Guns
Jethro Tull - Bungle In The Jungle
The Who - Behing Blue Eyes
Children Of Bodom - Kissing The Shadows(nice transition, eh?)
Cradle Of Filth - The Twisted Nails Of Faith
Type O Negative - Blood & Fire
Meshuggah - Spasm
Dimmu Borgir - In Death's Embrace
Dream Theater - Caught In A Web

I guess Girl Talk requires a bit of explination.

It's this dude, his name is Greg Gellis. And he takes all the top 40 hits you could think of and runs them through samplers and mixers. Puts them into loops. Splices them together in these intricate layers. And makes the most refreshing and kick ass dance music I've heard in a long time. There's this one song with the vocals from Pump it Up, but the music from Coldplay. Another with the beat from Ludacris's "Move Bitch" but Justin Timberlake, Kelly Osbourne, and Drowning Pool over it. Even Bone Thugs, Snoop Dogg, and Tatu are on this album.

It actually tricks me into thinking that the songs where the beats and samples came from were at one point, good. Either way... I would love to see this guy live. I bet it's insane. It's insane just coming through my stereo speakers. I nearly stained my underwear the first time I heard it.

Oh and;
Ratatat - "Ratatat"
The Advantage - "The Advantage"
The Walkmen - "Bows + Arrows"

I remember when I first got "System of a Down" System of a Down 5 years ago, beautiful CD one of my favorites.

The Damned - "Punk Generation Best of Oddities & Versions" I had the album forever, but I finally decided to get the CD to play in my car.
