Oh yeah, I'm adding:

"I Sent Concentration Camp Footage To Americas Funniest Home Videos", "Saving Ourselves For Marriage", "I Respect Your Feelings As A Woman And A Human", "You're Pregnant, So I Kicked You In The Stomach" and "You Converted To Judaism So A Guy Would Touch Your Dick" by Anal Cunt, because of the unbelievable hilarity.

"The World Is Yours" by Nas, despite the fact he's an idealist.

And... that's it, so far.

This song has been my favorite ever since 1997.
"Gone Away" - The Offspring: Ixnay On The Hombre

Maybe in another life
I could find you there
Pulled away before your time
I can't deal it's so unfair

And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it feels
Yeah it feels like
The world has grown cold
Now that you've gone away

Leaving flowers on your grave
Show that I still care
But black roses and Hail Mary's
Can't bring back what's taken from me
I reach to the sky

And call out your name And if I could trade
I would

And it feels
And it feels like
Heaven's so far away
And it stings
Yeah it stings now
The world is so cold Now that you've gone away

I just re-read my list of 20 songs and I have to say some of them still rule all. "The City" is one of those songs.
I'd go so far as to say it's probably my favorite song of all time.

While I have about a million favorite songs, as they change with my mood... I could probably list atleast 20 that I can listen to despite what mood I'm in, all the time:
Alkaline Trio: Radio
At the Drive-In: Cosmonaut
Avenged Sevenfold: Warmness of the Soul
Chris Cornell (His solo projects): Pillow of your Bones
Cursive: A Red so Deep
Iced Earth: Melancholy (Holy Martyr)
Interpol: Public Pervert
KMFDM: Stray Bullet
Matchbook Romance: Tiger Lily
Minus the Bear: Pachuca Sunrise
Silent Civilian: Live Again
Smashing Pumpkins: Ava Adore
I am reluctent to put ANY progressive metal on here, because you can't just pick a chunk and listen to it (Especially with Dream Theater's Scenes from a Memory) but, I can say...
Symphony X: The Odyssey
Takota: Carpark Conversations
The Mars Volta: Televators
The Sleeping: King of Hearts
These Green Eyes: Bouquet

Edit: Anri, I dig your Avatar. <3

I'm going to see Opeth live Feburary 2nd. ph34r m3. Razz

Alright. Here it goes, in no order and using a band only one time;

"The Drapery Falls by Opeth
"Haligh, Haligh, A Lie, Haligh" by Bright Eyes
"Dark Center of the Universe" by Modest Mouse
"The City" by The Dismemberment Plan
"With Stength I Burn" by Emperor
"The Sound of Muzak" by Porcupine Tree
"Freedom of '76" by Ween
"Coffee" by Copeland
"Decatur Street" by The Twilight Singers
"Double Day" by The Afghan Whigs
"Hero in a Dream" by Ensiferum
"Your Darkest Hour" by Evergrey
"Grand Theft Autumn" by Fall Out Boy
"Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots pt. 1" by The Flaming Lips
"Dead Winter Days" by Agalloch
"Avatar" by Arcane Sun
"March of the Fire Ants" by Mastodon
"The Descent" by Today is the Day
"Kind of Perfect" by Armor For Sleep
"The Fourth Dimension" by Hypocrisy

These aren't neccessarily the best songs ever written, but they are the most aesthetically pleasing to my ears, and if I were playing their respective albums, this would be the song that I skipped back and played again. I limited myself to twenty...which was very...very hard.

So, I posted this list nearly two years ago and I was re-reading. It's interesting to see how my taste in music has changed. I'd only keep about a few of these songs on the list now;

The Dismemberment Plan - "The City". Quite possibly the best song ever written. Ever. I know saying that is extremely bold. I'm only saying that because it's also quite possibly my favorite song ever written. Ever. I don't know if that'll change but it looks like it hasn't for a few years now. I may have posted this list in 2004 but I've loved this song since 2000.

Opeth - "The Drapery Falls". I remember buying Blackwater Park when it came out. It was one of my first CDs that was considered "real metal" and it was my first experience with Opeth. This song stood out as the one I'd always play twice. I remember when I saw Opeth in concert they played this song and I went insane. It will definitely remain embedded in my memory for a long time.

Today is the Day - "The Descent". Another first experience song. I hear this song and get nostalgic. Amazing band. Amazing song. That's really all there is to it.

I'm adding a few songs to the above 3;

Modest Mouse - "Cowboy Dan"
Destroyer - "Painter in Your Pocket"
The Flaming Lips - "Race For The Prize"
Hot Chip - "And I Was A Boy From School"
Regina Spektor - "Samson"
Mirah - "Promise To Me"
Namelessnumberheadman - "Rest Assured"
The Decemberists - "California One/Youth & Beauty Brigade"

There's a lot more.

It is going to be hard for me to narrow it down, but I will try...

Beatles: Hey Jude
OkGo: Here we go again
Ben Folds: Landed
MCR: You know what they do to guys like us in prison
Bloodhound Gang: Im the best you could do.

Thats probably it for now, those are on constant repeat on my MP3 player.

Its not who a person is in the inside, but what he does that defines him.
