Fallout: New Vegas

Has anyone else picked this up? All of the reviews I've seen mention a lot of bugs in the game. I bought it anyway knowing Bethesda will make sure they get fixed. It's really good. I've only played for a few hours, but the amount of depth to the game is astounding. I'm playing in Hardcore Mode which adds a really interesting level of realism to it.

I thought it was an expansion... Hmm. Is it different than Fallout 3? Will my FPS shooting miss all the time?

It's a follow up to Fallout 3. I picked it up for 360 but haven't had any time to play it yet

i haven't played it yet but im looking forward to it, I heard it was almost the same as 3 but i have no problem with that. How is the Hardcore mode? I heard some stuff about it but still don't know all the details.

Hardcore mode is the only way to play. But it doesn't make the experience dramatically different. Having to keep yourself fed and hydrated isn't a real problem since food and water is plentiful. It just sucks that you have to carry it all the time.

I love the Fallout series and New Vegas is my new best friend for taking place in the mojave desert, which I used to live in and thus I was won over by the joshua trees alone. I got all the current DLC although admittedly I haven't played Old World Blues yet and I never finished Honest Hearts >.<
